Chrysanthi Charatsari is an Assistant Professor of Agricultural Education and Training at the School of Agriculture in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She holds a Ph.D. and has completed five postdoctoral fellowships in Agricultural Education and Extension, Rural Sociology, and Adult Education. Chrysanthi participates as a scientific responsible and research associate in many projects funded by the European Union and/or national funds. Among her other research activities, she has developed an adapted version of Farmer Field Schools for Greek farmers. She has published more than 100 papers in peer-reviewed journals, collective volumes, and proceedings of international/national conferences. She is an editor for The Journal of Agricultural Education and Extension and a member of the International Scientific Committee for the Italian Review of Agricultural Economics. She is also a co-editor of several special issues and collective volumes, and serves as a reviewer for more than 30 Scopus-indexed journals. Her research interests include agricultural education and training, agricultural extension, agricultural innovation, farm advisory work, competence development, agricultural digitalization, sustainability transitions, and innovative learning techniques.
