Short CV Presentation

My name is Evangelos Vanidis of Dimitrios and I was an associate professor in the School of Physics at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Since August 2016, I have been retired and collaborating with the Laboratory of Optics and Spectroscopy of the Department of Condensed Matter and Materials Physics (CMMP).

I have been and am still involved with issues of Optics, in the field of Education and Research.

    • Speckle Metrology
    • Fourier Optics
    • The study of properties of photorefractive materials
    • The study of the electro-optic and electro-rotational properties of crystalline materials

  4. My writing activity concerning special topics in Optics (in Greek), as well as aids for the use of students or other interested parties (in Greek). The books and aids are in PDF format and can be used by anyone for personal use, with a clear prohibition of their commercial exploitation.
