Description:
The scientific areas he dealt with included, among others, issues related to the posting and ratification of forest maps, for which he was responsible for providing directions to the Forest Service for the issuing of legislative and circular interventions for the smooth progress of the project; issues related to forest management, including the implementation of the law on Forest Cooperatives and specifications for forest management studies; forests and climate change; wildlife management; provisions on forest protection; project siting; and parliamentary control on issues of forest ecosystems, mainly responses to Members of Parliament on questions concerning forest maps.
At the same time, he participated in the following working groups:

Member of the Working Group on the National System for the Administration and Management of Protected Areas and Biodiversity.
Member of the Working Group for the preparation of the Strategic Development Plan for Forestry.

He worked on the following areas: preparation of game guarding reports, costing of game guarding operations, strategies for managing and reducing operating costs, tenders and procurement of clothing, footwear and bulletproof vests, procurement of a vehicle monitoring system, creation of software for monitoring the game guard service, and technical meetings on strategies for tackling poaching.
