CURRICULUM VITAE

Chrysanthi Kallini was born in Thessaloniki. She studied Archaeology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where she continued her postgraduate studies (Msc and Ph.D) specializing in the study of Hellenistic Pottery.

She has worked as an archaeologist in excavations of the Ephorate of Prehistoric and Classical Antiquities in the prefecture of Thessaloniki and Chalkidiki (Olympiada – Stageira, Ierissos – Akanthos, Thessaloniki, Pieria), as well as in research projects of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki concerning archaeological research at Vergina, Kastri Polyneri of Grevena and Hellenistic pottery.

In 2006 he was appointed at the Department of History and Archaeology, AUTH, while since 2014 she has been working as a member of the Laboratory Teaching Staff at the same Department of AUTH with the subject “Classical Archaeology”.

She has been participating in the University Excavation of Vergina since her student days (1991) and in the University Excavation in Polyneri of Grevena prefecture from 1998 until today and has published relevant studies in scientific conferences and scientific journals and collective volumes.
