He holds a BSc(Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manchester and holds three Msc Degrees in the field of energy and materials. He works as a Special Teaching Staff at the Physical Metallurgy Laboratory of the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He also has many years of experience as a Safety Engineers at the Hospitals of Imathia, Halkidiki and Thessaloniki while in the past he has served as a Safety Engineer at the Region of Central Macedonia and at various Municipalities of Northern Greece. It is an external partner of GEP (Occupational Health and Safety) on health and safety issues. Administratively, he is a member of the general assemblies of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering.

  • Computational fluid dynamics and heat transfer in optimization of machine operation.
  • Interest in computational fluid mechanics and heat transfer for energy using renewable energy sources.
  • Very strong interest in aerodynamic design using methods of either computational fluid dynamics or wind tunnel measurements as well as turbulent flow modeling.
