Georgios Georgiadis obtained his PhD from the Department of Chemical Engineering at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Optimal Production Planning and Scheduling of Mixed Batch and Continuous Industrial Processes, 2021). In 2017, he completed his postgraduate studies in Electrical Power Engineering at RWTH Aachen University, while in 2013 he received his degree in Electrical Engineering from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. His research interests relate to the fields of mathematical optimization, production design/planning, and operational research. His research has been funded through scholarships at both the doctoral and postdoctoral levels. In the past, he has successfully participated in Greek and international research projects. His work has been published in international journals and presented at international and Greek conferences. He has four years of industrial experience as an optimization engineer (2021-2025) for specialised solutions and software for production planning.
