Bilias

Assistant Professor
Short CV Presentation

Fotis Bilias is an Assistant Professor of Soil Fertility at the Soil Science Laboratory, School of Agriculture, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. His research interests focus on soil fertility and soil health, nutrient dynamics within the soil–plant system, and the utilization of circular economy products for the sustainable management of agricultural soils and crop production.

He has participated as a member of research teams in several national and European research projects, including Horizon Europe, PRIMA, LIFE, and Research–Create–Innovate initiatives. To date, his scientific work includes 29 publications in international peer-reviewed journals indexed in the Science Citation Index (SCI/SCIE) and Scopus databases. He also serves as a reviewer for international scientific journals and as a Guest Editor of special issues in international journals. In addition, he acts as an evaluator of innovation-oriented research proposals for the European Commission under the European Innovation Council (EIC) Accelerator programme, having evaluated 10 proposals to date.
