Dr. Evangelia Balambekou is a member of the Laboratory Teaching Staff (Ε.ΔΙ.Π.) in the Laboratory of Applied Zoology and Parasitology in Agriculture, department of Plant Protection, at the School of Agriculture, Forestry and Natural Environment, School of Agriculture in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She is an Agricultural Scientist/Agronomist, holding a Master’s degree in waste management, as well as a Ph.D. in Agricultural Entomology. Her research interests include Insect Ecology, Agricultural Entomology, Insect Physiology, and Insect Behavior. She has published several papers in prestigious peer-reviewed scientific journals and has a significant number of participations in scientific conferences. Furthermore, she has participated in at least 20 co-funded European research projects.
