Emmanouil Mazinis graduated from the Dental School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) in 1996 and completed a postgraduate program in Endodontics in 1998. He was awarded his PhD from AUTH in 2005 with a thesis titled: ‘Study of the setting reaction and dimensional changes of various types of endodontic sealers.’
He is an Assistant Professor at the Laboratory of Endodontology of the Department of Pathology and Therapeutics of Dental Tissues at AUTH.
He is a co-author of one book (‘Radiography in Endodontics,’ Odontiatriko Vima Publications, 2007) and co-editor of four books, with 20 publications in Greek and international journals. He has participated in more than 50 presentations, lectures, or poster sessions at scientific conferences. He has illustrated more than 20 textbooks for Greek and international publishers. He is a member of international and Greek dental scientific societies.
