She is an alumni of: a) Kindergarten’s Preparatory College of Athens (Diploma),
b) Boston Univeristy (B.S in early childhood education and EdM in elementary education) and c) Teachers College- Columbia University (MeD and EdD in early childhood education).

She has worked as a kindergarten teacher at the American Community Schools of Athens. She has taught at the Departments of Preschool Education of the Universities of Thessaloniki, Athens and Patras and at the Technological Educational Institute of Athens.

She has publications in Greek and foreign scientific journals and has participated in numerous conferences in Greece and abroad.

She is an author of four books entitled:

Contemporary trends of preschool education (Sinchrones tasis tis prosholikis agogis). Athina: Tipothito- G. Dardanos, 1999, revised 2nd ed. 2001.
