My research is broadly concerned with how people use their senses to guide their actions. I am interested in eye and head movements during visually guided tasks, and in how tactile processing interplays with motor behavior. I study these questions across the lifespan, from children to younger and older adults, combining eye and body motion tracking with tactile psychophysics.
I studied Sports Sciences at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and received my PhD in visuomotor control from VU Amsterdam. From 2014 to 2026, I was based in Experimental Psychology at Justus Liebig University Giessen, Germany. In 2026, I returned to Greece as an assistant professor in Motor Skills.
