Christos Dordas is since 2003 a faculty member of the School of Agriculture of the Aristotle University Thessaloniki (AUTh) and since 2015 head of the Head of this University’s Laboratory of Agronomy. From November 2017 is a full professor and from December of 2017-2022 was Head of the School of Agriculture. In the last fifteen years, he held various top-level positions in University administration. Among other, he served as the Deputy Head of the School of Agriculture (2013-2017) and as the head of the Department of Field Crops and Ecology (2013-2014). His research work addresses several issues in the field crops and plant physiology. In the last 15 years he participated in numerous competitive projects funded from EU and national agencies. He supervised 18 master’s students, 5 PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers in Greece and is the author of more than 200 scientific publications, including more than 94 papers in peer-reviewed journals (5300 citations, h-index: 32).
