Dr. Aggeliki Tsaboula is an agronomist and Laboratory Teaching Staff at Laboratory of Ecology and Environmental Protection, at the School of Agriculture, Faculty of Agriculture Forestry and Natural Environment, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She co-teaches undergraduate courses (Environmental Protection, Wetlands and Agriculture, Agricultural Ecology, Ecology, Sustainable Development of Agricultural Resources) and postgraduate courses (Ecotoxicology, Principles of ecosystem management and preparation of management plans, Organic farming and other alternative farming) for the Postgraduate Program of Studies «Sustainable Agricultural Systems and Climate Change» of the School of Agriculture. Also, she co-teaches the course «Landscape Preservation, Restoration and Rehabilitation» for the Joint Postgraduate Program of Studies «Landscape Architecture». She has participated in 19 national and international conferences, symposia and workshops, in 7 national and international research programs. She is the co-author of one book chapter and has published 14 articles in Science Citation Index Journals.  The title of  her PhD thesis was “Pollution of surface water with pesticides and assessment of chemical quality by use of biological and chemical indicators” and her main scientific interests include impact of agriculture in the environment, prevention of environmental pollution from agricultural activity, environmental fate of pesticides, water pollution, risk assessment, ecotoxicology, environmental indices.
