Short CV Presentation

I have BSc degree in Geology (1989-1994), MSc degree in Applied Geophysics (1995-1997) and PhD degree in Exploration Geophysics (1997-2000). Currently, I have a position (Researcher – Teaching staff) at the Laboratory of Exploration Geophysics, Department of Geophysics, of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). From 2013-2016, I worked at NGU as a Researcher at the Helicopter geophysics group, taking active part in airborne data acquisition and mainly working on processing radiometric and magnetic data. Since 2019, I am scientific responsible in joint research projects between AUTH and NGU, on processing EM, radiometric, and magnetic data.
My PhD thesis involved the quality control, recompilation, processing and interpretation of airborne magnetic data of an old survey conducted in 1967 by ABEM. Large part of my thesis was done using the OASIS Montaj software, where I gained expertise. My job responsibilities at the Laboratory of Exploration Geophysics of Aristotle University included the acquisition, quality control, processing and interpretation of magnetic, resistivity, seismic and electromagnetic data (GPR and VLF) by actively participating in numerous geophysical, national and EU projects as a key member of the Exploration Geophysics team of our department.
I have more than 25 years experience in various geophysical techniques, applied in different fields of geophysical prospection, extensive database manipulation and analyzing of various geophysical data sets, data interpretation, and construction of high-quality maps and presentation of projects results on written and oral form.
