Anthoula Rontogianni (PhD) is Laboratory Teaching Fellow in the Department of Linguistics & Language Didactics in the School of French Language and Literature, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She received her PhD on “Semantics and translation: problems of polysemy and synonymy in the translations of V. Hugo’s ”Les Misérables” from the University of Sorbonne (Paris IV). She has participated in national and international conferences and has published articles in Greek and foreign journals. Her scientific and research interests mainly revolve around issues of semantics, lexicology and lexicography with emphasis on the theory of the Psychomecanics of Language (Gustave Guillaume).
