Short CV Presentation

She graduated from the History and Archaeology Department of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She has a Master’s Degree in Byzantine Archaeology from the School of History and Archaeology of the Aristotle University, Thessaloniki, and a PhD diploma of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. To carry out her doctoral research, she received a five-year scholarship by the Alexander S. Onassis Public Benefit Foundation.

Since 1993 she participates as an assistant researcher to the scientific project “Corpus of the Early Christian Mosaic Pavements of Greece” coordinated by Professor P. Assimakopoulou-Atzaka. Between 2002 and 2014 she worked at the Centre for Byzantine Research, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Since 2014 belongs to the Laboratory Teaching Staff of the Faculty of Philosophy, School of History and Archaeology. She has participated in congresses in Greece and abroad.

Her research interests focus on the domestic architecture and decoration of Late Antiquity, as well as on the interpretation of the written sources and on the everyday life of this period.
