Dr Alexandros Theodoridis is a Professor in Livestock Production Economics and Applied Statistics, at the School of Veterinary Medicine, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), Greece. He obtained a Diploma (BSc) in Agricultural Engineering (2001), from the Faculty of Agriculture, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and an MSc in Economics, from the Faculty of Economics & Applied Economics, K.U. Leuven, Belgium (2002). He holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics obtained from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece (2008). Prof. Theodoridis is the Head of the Lab of Livestock Production Economics since 2020. He has participated in more than 30 scientific projects funded by Greek governmental bodies, European Union and private companies and organizations (in 8 of them as coordinator) and has more than 120 full papers in peer-reviewed journals and Conference Proceedings. His main research interests include agricultural economics, agricultural policy, animal production economics, statistical analyses and evaluation of experimental data, sustainable rural development, and design of farm management surveys.
