  • November 2005 – May 2009: General Director of the Hellenic Institute of Geology and Mineral Exploration (I.G.M.E.), Greece.
  • 2011: Member of a Committee appointed by the Ministry of Environment, Energy and Climate Change to examine the presence of shale gas formations and bituminous shale in Greece and to try to identify the opportunities and the risks of shale gas development.
  • 2009 – 2013: Member of the Program Committee for the FP7 Specific Program “CAPACITIES” [national representative of Greece].
  • 2013 – June 2015: Vice-President of the Hellenic Hydrocarbon Resources Management S.A. (H.H.R.M. S.A.) – Hellenic Republic – Ministry of Environment and Energy, Greece.
  • 2012-2017: Hydrocarbons Exploration and Exploitation Contracts Negotiator for the Hellenic Republic:
  1. Negotiator on behalf of the Hellenic Republic – Ministry of Environment, Energy and Climate Change for granting and using authorizations for exploration and exploitation of hydrocarbon in respect of certain acreage in Western Greece: the onshore area known as “Ioannina” and the offshore areas “Gulf of Patraikos (west)” and “Katakolon”.
  2. Negotiator on behalf of the Hellenic Republic – Ministry of Productive Reconstruction, the Environment and Energy for granting and using authorizations for the prospection, exploration, and production of hydrocarbons within three (3) onshore areas “Arta-Preveza”, “Aitoloakarnania” and “NW Peloponnese” in Western Greece.
  3. Negotiator on behalf of the Hellenic Republic – Ministry of Environment and Energy for granting and using authorizations for the prospection, exploration, and production of hydrocarbons in twenty (20) offshore areas in Western Greece (Ionian Sea) and South of Crete.
  • Appointed by the Hellenic Ministry of Environment and Energy from 2014 to 2021: President (on behalf of the Hellenic Republic) of the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) for West Patraikos Gulf area (offshore) concession.
  • Geologic Consultant North Aegean Petroleum Co.-N.A.P.C., offshore drilling PB-26, in Prinos Oil field, North Aegean Sea, Greece – 1993.
  • Geologic Consultant Α.C.Z.O.
