Σύντομη Παρουσίαση Βιογραφικού

Ο Ιωάννης Τσιβιντζέλης είναι Αναπληρωτής Καθηγητής στο Τμήμα Χημικών Μηχανικών του Αριστοτέλειου Πανεπιστήμιου Θεσσαλονίκης. Οι ερευνητικές του δραστηριότητες καλύπτουν ένα ευρύ φάσμα πεδίων και εφαρμογών, όπως: μελέτη ισορροπίας φάσεων και μοντελοποίηση συστημάτων με μη ιδανική συμπεριφορά (συστήματα με δεσμούς υδρογόνου, υπερκρίσιμα ρευστά και πολυμερή), μελέτη συστημάτων διαλυτών για δέσμευση CO2, κατεργασία (βιο)πολυμερών με υπερκρίσιμα ρευστά, μελέτη των διεργασιών παραγωγής πορωδών πολυμερών, παρασκευή και χαρακτηρισμός νανοïνωδών πολυμερικών μεμβρανών, παραγωγή και χαρακτηρισμός νανοσύνθετων (βιο)πολυμερών, μελέτη του εγκλεισμού και της ελεγχόμενης αποδέσμευσης φαρμακευτικών και βιολογικών ουσιών από βιοπολυμερή, διεργασίες με εναλλακτικούς διαλύτες (όπως υπερκρίσιμα ρευστά και ιοντικά υγρά).  Διδάσκει «Φυσική Χημεία» και «Επιστήμη και Τεχνολογία Πολυμερών» στο τμήμα Χημικών Μηχανικών. Συμμετέχει και σε δύο μεταπτυχιακά  προγράμματα σπουδών: Διδάσκει ‘Εφαρμοσμένη Θερμοδυναμική» στο ΠMΣ «Χημική και Βιομοριακή Μηχανική», καθώς και «Θερμομηχανική Ανάλυση, Θερμιδομετρικές Τεχνικές, Θερμική Γήρανση» στο ΠΜΣ «Προστασία, Συντήρηση και Αποκατάσταση Μνημείων Πολιτισμού». Έχει δημοσιεύσει περισσότερες από 90 πρωτότυπες ερευνητικές εργασίες σε διεθνή επιστημονικά περιοδικά με κριτές και έχει παρουσιάσει πληθώρα εργασιών σε εθνικά και διεθνή συνέδρια. Έχει συμμετάσχει σε περισσότερα από 15 εθνικά και ευρωπαϊκά ερευνητικά προγράμματα (ως επιστημονικά υπεύθυνος σε 3 από αυτά).

Ο Ιωάννης Τσιβιντζέλης είναι Αναπληρωτής Καθηγητής στο Τμήμα Χημικών Μηχανικών του Αριστοτέλειου Πανεπιστήμιου Θεσσαλονίκης. Οι ερευνητικές του δραστηριότητες καλύπτουν ένα ευρύ φάσμα πεδίων και εφαρμογών, όπως: μελέτη ισορροπίας φάσεων και μοντελοποίηση συστημάτων με μη ιδανική συμπεριφορά (συστήματα με δεσμούς υδρογόνου, υπερκρίσιμα ρευστά και πολυμερή), μελέτη συστημάτων διαλυτών για δέσμευση CO2, κατεργασία (βιο)πολυμερών με υπερκρίσιμα ρευστά, μελέτη των διεργασιών παραγωγής πορωδών πολυμερών, παρασκευή και χαρακτηρισμός νανοïνωδών πολυμερικών μεμβρανών, παραγωγή και χαρακτηρισμός νανοσύνθετων (βιο)πολυμερών, μελέτη του εγκλεισμού και της ελεγχόμενης αποδέσμευσης φαρμακευτικών και βιολογικών ουσιών από βιοπολυμερή, διεργασίες με εναλλακτικούς διαλύτες (όπως υπερκρίσιμα ρευστά και ιοντικά υγρά).  Διδάσκει «Φυσική Χημεία» και «Επιστήμη και Τεχνολογία Πολυμερών» στο τμήμα Χημικών Μηχανικών. NARPY - Nano-Reinforced Polypropylene Multifilament Yarns

Description of the project

The Research Project NARPY is implemented through the Operational Program Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, under the call INDUSTRIAL MATERIALS (project code: T6YBP 00035) with the co‐financing of the European Regional Development Fund of the European Union and Greek national funds. The main objective of the project is the development of nanocomposite Polypropylene multifilament yarns with increased mechanical and thermal properties that can be industrially produced. The investigation of the relation between the production process, the structure and the properties of the nanocomposite fibers and of the possible synergy between the various additives and nano-reinforcing agents are, also, objectives of the project. The results of the NARPY project are expected to be particularly interesting both from a scientific and practical point of view. Moreover, they are expected to bring significant economic benefits to the participating companies and increase their competitiveness through the development of new products.
