I am an Associate Professor of Food Science – Oenology & Alcoholic Beverages. I graduated from the School of Chemistry at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) and hold a postgraduate degree specializing in Food Chemistry and Technology, as well as a PhD in Chemistry. My research experience is in developing methods for food quality control and authentication (e.g., quality labels, nutritional claims). My skills in chromatographic techniques (HPLC, GC), spectroscopic techniques (UV-Vis, FTIR, NIR, fluorescence, NMR), as well as in data analysis using chemometric techniques (PCA, PLS-R, PLS-DA).
